What happens in Vegas?…

"The night before I left Las Vegas I walked out in the desert to look at the moon. There was a jeweled city on the horizon, spires rising in the night . . ."

~ Norman Mailer

Consider the average condominium on the Las Vegas Strip, actually the average condominium anywhere. You got that right.

Now consider the client, a consumate outdoorsman. “How do you envision your space?” I ask.

Oh, just make it “RED ROCK CANYONESQUE” he answered.

Working within a BOX.

Looking beyond what lies in sight to create the space that lies ahead. Following the path of the client’s interest, this guides my steps in designing his space.

Although condominiums generally do not conjure up an image of high style, their simple lines, however, do not compete with most types of décor, so these spaces are the perfect backdrop for just about any decorating choice.

Using this blank canvas (and with all non-custom paints and fixtures) the space pays homage to the client’s vision of “Red Rock Canyonesque”.

All furnishings, (furniture, art, and carpets) are original. “I’m very interested in the meshing and colliding of local idioms,” he says, “for me, the poetry lies in the juxtaposition of the heretofore unrelated.”

I say, we are just a hair breath away from the Las Vegas Strip.

Thank you Fred & crew, GREAT job.
